Reason’s Remy Munasifi is officially trolling U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
And it’s pretty darn funny.
Last month, Sebelius announced an online video contest to promote Obamacare, which opens in just a few days. The secretary announced a few themes for the challenge, asking would-be video-makers to create an animation, sing a song or prepare a short clip on why young Americans are not invincible and need health coverage.
The propaganda push promotion comes with $30,000 in prize money.
Here’s Menasifi’s entry, which explains why he believes Obamacare will be a total disaster for young workers:
Menasifi didn’t actually submit the piece, which he released just a few days after the Sept. 23 deadline.
Voting on real entries begins Oct. 1, the same day millions of Americans will start purchasing health insurance through government-run exchanges. HHS already awarded $1,500 in prize money to the early-bird entry winner, Jason Girouard from Brimfield, Mass.
Take a look at Girouard’s entry:
No offense, Jason, but we prefer Remy’s clip.
