It’s a question making the rounds the last few days as the latest list of of cars and country club memberships doled out to administrators and coaches at the University of Nebraska is once again making noise.
Four years ago Nebraska Watchdog first reported the practice—defended by NU officials, deplored by its critics—with an in-depth look at (see video above) Dr. Harold Maurer, Chancellor of the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
He pulls down a reported $461,000 a year and drives a Porsche Cayenne—the same one Nebraska Watchdog found him in back in 2009.
