Arizona experienced one of the most dramatic increases in recovery.org’s database of non-existent congressional districts. The $84 million stimulus tracking site monitored funds distributed to 14 phantom districts.
The 86th District of the state received more than $34 million from the stimulus package, but was not able to produce any job growth with that money. A sure disappointments for residents in that district, if they actually existed.
A Watchdog study revealed 440 non-existent congressional districts within the stimulus tracking web site, recovery.org. The full report can be found here and below:
