The administration is doing its best to help the south rise again. Arkansas‘ 6th District received more than 360,000 from the stimulus package, according to recovery.gov. That district, however, has not existed since 1963. The stimulus directed more than $30 million to 8 other non-existent districts in the state.
A Watchdog study revealed 440 non-existent congressional districts within the stimulus tracking web site, recovery.org. The full report can be found here and below:
