Hawaii‘s population may have tripled, according to recovery.org, which distributed $45 million to congressional districts that are nowhere to be found on the electoral map.
The tiny island, which maintains two congressional districts, saw money pumped into areas seemingly out of the blue. District 15 alone received $40 million in funds. It is unclear where exactly that district is located.
A Watchdog study revealed 440 non-existent congressional districts within the stimulus tracking web site, recovery.org. The full report can be found here and below:
