Residents of Idaho‘s 5th District would have seen the benefit of $1.2 million, had they actually existed.
The state, which has only two congressional districts, distributed federal stimulus funds to 10 districts, which do not exist, according to recovery.gov.
A Watchdog study revealed 440 non-existent congressional districts within the stimulus tracking web site, recovery.org. The full report can be found here and below:
