The stimulus package sent more than $14.7 million to seven congressional districts in Texas that do not exist, according to Recovery.gov. Two districts combined to receive $12.5 million of that sum with drastically different results. District 52 was given nearly $9 million from the stimulus package. District 58, meanwhile, received nearly $3.7 million.

The relationship between capital and job growth was not apparent in these two districts. District 58 claimed to create or save 45 jobs, while District 52 was not able to produce one job, despite more than twice the amount of funding.

A Watchdog study revealed 440 non-existent congressional districts within the stimulus tracking web site, recovery.org. The full report can be found here and below:
