AUSTIN — Six weeks ago the Sunset Advisory Commission called out the leaders of the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.
State lawmakers couldn’t understand why agency leaders would hinder access to needed information to understand how the agency functions.
Those judicial conduct panel leaders got their answers Tuesday with swift passage of all items identified in a Sunset Advisory Commission staff report, and three more proposals by state Rep. Dennis Bonnen, R-Angleton, who also is Sunset Commission chairman.
The Sunset Commission approved their decisions after the April hearing on the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.
