TULSA — Disappointed with the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Insurance Commissioner John Doak said he will do his duty under the law.
However, potential legal challenges remain, including issues of religious freedom.
“The ruling gives the federal government wide-ranging powers it has never had before,” said Doak. “Not only is it a federal overreach into citizens’ lives, but it is also the largest tax increase on the middle class in American history.”
