Education bills still alive halfway through Hoosier legislative session

Halfway through the 2016 legislative session, a host of education-related bills that have passed either the Indiana House or Senate are moving to the other chamber.

The House has passed bills on teacher recruitment and pay, diploma options and testing. Other education measures still alive include charter school legislation and a cursive handwriting requirement.
