Google Puts Job Losses in Motion

I’m not sure how much I have to add to this. Frankly I’m going to let Google’s new Public Data Explorer do all the work.
Their new program creates interactive maps and charts that really put things in perspective. One of their examples shows unemployment gains and losses since January 1990 using data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Behold:
