OKLAHOMA CITY — We here at Oklahoma Watchdog have been watching some very interesting developments in recent weeks and months that have us a bit concerned.

Reporting at our sister site, Red Dirt Report, and getting picked up by alternative news sites like Infowars.com, the story “McVeigh and the ‘Hispanic man’ – what did the feds know?” is getting some attention among those who question what really happened in downtown Oklahoma City on the morning of April 19, 1995. And in this story it takes things a bit further and suggests more took place here in Oklahoma City in the weeks leading up to that terrible day when the Alfred P. Murrah federal building was bombed.

And with the 15th anniversary of the bombing only weeks away, we are seeing events taking place in the United States that would suggest more is going on – things that sound and look an awful lot like it did in those heady days during the Clinton era. Raids on militia groups. Attempts by a Democrat-led administration to demonize patriotic Americans (Tea Party activists and political dissenters who do not want ObamaCare forced upon them) and a general tension in the political zeitgeist. April 15 – Tax Day – is also Tea Party Day for many people and the Obama administration and their minions in the left-wing media will do anything to marginalize these good folks (for the most part) who want to protest.

While the bizarre Hutaree Christian militia is rounded up in the upper Midwest, tagged by the feds as as wanting to attack the government, little is said about the actual murder of an Arizona rancher and his dog near the U.S.-Mexico border. Where is DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano – the former governor of the Grand Canyon State – in this case? Why haven’t National Guard troops, who fill sandbags in flood-ravaged communities at the drop of a hat, been sent to the border as requested by desparate Sen. John McCain, who is desiring to be re-elected?

As a concerned Naco, Arizona resident told the Christian Science Monitor in today’s edition, “It’s become Grand Central Station out here since the Obama administration began talking about comprehensive reform,” the Naco resident said. “They’re all trying to get up here quickly so they can be inside the country when amnesty  – or whatever they want to call it – is announced.”

It is suspected that the murdered rancher – Robert Krentz – may have been unwittingly caught up in some drug trafficking activity and shot by Mexican drug criminals. A family member of mine, who had planned a tourist trip to northern Mexico decided not to go after all due to the intense violence and climbing murder rate along the border.

The situation has gotten bad enough to get the attention of Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, a Democrat. Hearing Brewer talk to the hosts of a Fox News Channel morning program today, Gov. Brewer is very concerned and calling for the federal government to crack down on this illegal immigration situation.

But, the feds appear to be more concerned with misguided white guys playing “war” out in the woods. It would seem that the government would take the border situation a bit more seriously. But, as we see once again, the FBI had an informant in the Hutaree militia and got them for allegedly “conspiring to kill law enforcement officers.” That remains to be seen and is disturbing if true. But we have a real crisis and real people dying and the federal government is not doing its constitutional duty in protecting Americans from vicious killers coming in from Mexico.
