NM: Major polls still shut out Libertarian hopeful

SANTA FE — U.S. presidential polls, including a new batch released this week, continue not to mention Libertarian candidate and former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson and any other third-party candidate by name.

When asked whom they would prefer to see in the White House, respondents only can choose between presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney or President Barack Obama in the Washington Post/ABC News poll released Monday as well as surveys by Reuters/IPSOS, JZ Analytics/Washington Times, and CNN/Opinion Research.
