RICHMOND — Payday lender and title loan companies have launched a full-court press ahead of the upcoming General Assembly session to protect their businesses statewide.
They’ve hired lobbyists and contributed to state Senate and House of Delegates candidates ahead of the Nov. 8 General Election. All 140 seats in both chambers are up for grabs.
