SPRINGFIELD – Rod Blagojevich says he could return to politics if he avoids conviction in federal court.
On "Fox News Sunday," Blagojevich said he was hoping for a political comeback if found innocent on all corruption charges.
But Mattoon Republican Dale Righter says Blagojevich can't hold a local elected or state elected position.
Righter was one of the lawmakers who voted to remove Blagojevich from office in January 2009 and forbid him from ever holding office in Illinois again.
