OKLAHOMA CITY — Education policy is the focus of several interim studies in the Oklahoma Senate this summer and fall.
Among the issues approved by state Senate President Pro Tem Brian Bingman, R-Sapulpa, are:
- Common school funding formulas;
- Facility funding for charter schools;
- Streamlining administrative costs;
- Funding the Oklahoma Innovation Institute’s Supercomputing Center.
These studies are expected to lay the foundation for proposals in the upcoming legislative session.
