HONOLULU — U.S. Rep. Mazie Hirono has put her campaign for U.S. Senate before he duties in Congress, missing votes on several bills.
Hirono, a Democrat representing District 2, is running against former U.S. Rep. Ed Case, who also served District 2, in a hotly contested primary race for the seat vacated by retiring Democratic U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka.
Among the votes she missed were on the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act and Interest Rate Reduction Act.
