OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Youth Expo will receive $2 million from the state, despite the controversy surrounding how this money was authorized.
Commissioner of Agriculture Jim Reese told CapitolBeatOK said giving money to the expo has been customary for about 10 years.
However, state Rep. Mike Reynolds, R-Oklahoma City, cited various constitutional and other legal provisions in opposing the expenditure.
