NM: Ad paints Senate hopeful as tool of oil industry

SANTA FE — With little more than three months until Nov. 6, it’s no surprise the U.S. Senate race between Heather Wilson and Martin Heinrich is starting to take on a harder edge.

Two television ads paid for by environmental groups haven’t held back on Wilson, a Republican U.S. representative, trying to paint her as a tool of oil interests, who is poisoning schoolchildren from the water fountain.
