RENO — Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney attacked President Barack Obama for national security leaks and a weak foreign policy.
He punctuated Obama’s first term as a “time of declining influence and missed opportunity.”
Romney spoke Tuesday to attendees of the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention here, the same group Obama addressed Monday.
“These clear measures are the ultimate tests of American leadership,” he said. “And by these standards, we haven’t seen much in the president’s first term that inspires confidence in a second.”
