Construction of a new Lincoln venue for concerts and Husker basketball games is at the halfway mark.
Paula Yancey, program manager for the overall $340 million development that includes the arena, said the actual arena is about 40 percent constructed, and the entire arena project is about halfway done.
The Pinnacle Bank Arena is scheduled to open in one year, in time for the 2013 Husker basketball season.
Local reporters were given a tour of the arena today.
