SANTA FE — Think there’s a lot at stake in in the upcoming elections for the Roundhouse?
Just take a look at the money flowing into New Mexico from Democratic and Republican political action committees.
Capitol Report New Mexico did just that and here’s what it found:
On Monday, a form posted on the Office of the Secretary of State’s website showed that the Super PAC Patriot Majority New Mexico, which supports Democrats, received $386,000 from Sept. 10 to Oct. 1.
The largest single contributor was the NEA Advocacy Fund, a Super PAC representing the National Education Association teachers’ union. It gave Patriot Majority New Mexico a total of $299,500 on Sept. 20 and 21.
