ABUSE: Seven advisers resigned from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas because of how grants are doled out.

The Associated Press reported that seven advisers resigned last week from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas, claiming “suspicion of favoritism” in doling out grants and warning that the program is becoming subject to abuse.
