HI: Young may not be welcome endorsement in Senate race

YOUNG: The congressman has been the subject of investigations by the House Ethics Commission and the Justice Department.

HONOLULU — First, he sat next to U.S. Rep. Mazie Hirono, telling viewers how well they work together in a TV commercial.

Then, he shifted his alliance to U.S. Senate candidate Linda Lingle, Hirono’s opponent.

Alaska‘s Republican U.S. Rep. Don Young has danced with both candidates, but his controversial history may make him an unwelcome partner.
