Watchdog.org sent its reporters to Michigan to fact check unions who claimed hundreds of small businesses support the pro-union  Prop 2. But the team found that many small business owners did not know about the proposition, or that they allegedly support it.

Really interesting video, and really highlights the biggest issue with proposal 2, that being that many don’t understand the full impact of what they’re voting on. Proposal 2 boils down collective bargaining into a brief summary on the ballot without coming close to explaining the full impact of what “enshrining” collective bargaining means. No bad contract would ever be able to be undone, and in fact would essentially always have to be made bigger because of the influence unions have over politicians. Considering the problem with current contracts in the state (http://bit.ly/OCGpCl), this proposal would essentially cripple any attempt to fix bad contracts in Michigan.
