KINDER: Promises to save enough in governmental waste to offset increase in budget for his office.

ST. LOUIS – Missouri Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder requested an additional $38,500 from the legislature Wednesday, with plans to use the money to create a website to curb wasteful spending.

Kinder said he soon plans to launch the website, which will allow citizens to provide tips about wasteful spending in Missouri government.

The Republican said if his website doesn’t identify enough wasted dollars to offset the extra appropriation he’ll return the cash.

He didn’t provide a date the site will be online or the URL for it when speaking to lawmakers Wednesday.

Kinder said he delayed starting his website until this year because he didn’t want it to seem politically motivated. He was re-elected to a third term last November.

Yes sir, I have a complaint on a 5.5 million dollar plane. Total waste of our taxpayer dollars.

Yessir, I too wish to complain about a social welfare system that provides free viagra to a single father on disability, while also placing two other households in “the program” because he fathered a child wth rwo separate women, one of whom gave birth to a child with illegal drugs in its system. That instance place three households in a program where living expenses, food, utilities, prescription drugs, including 800mg tylenol or ibuprophen, were given freely. I pay for my tylenol, and if my insurance would cover it, I would get the previously mentioned script. However, at nearly $20.00 per dose, I can’t afford it. I don’t use drugs, but have to submit to random screenings to keep my job while others circumvent their screenings and get everything handed to them.
