When it comes to following the money—at least some money— a new report gives the State of Nebraska high marks.
But the report only covers state spending and does not include “Deep Throat’s” original call to follow the money— campaign contributions.
If a bill requiring seat belts on school buses makes it to Gov. Pete Ricketts’ desk will he sign it? What about a bill, currently being debated on the floor of the legislature, that would end Nebraska’s mandatory motorcycle helmet law?
Those are wait and see.
