U.S. Sen Jon Tester, D-Mont., received $5,000 from Google’s NetPAC, the company’s political action committee arm.

HELENA — Your favorite search engine just donated to Montana’s Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Tester’s campaign machinery.
Politico reports that Tester, locked in a tight contest for his U.S. Senate seat with GOP U.S. Rep. Denny Rehberg, received $5,000 from Google’s NetPAC, the company’s political action committee arm.
That’s on top of the $1,000 the company gave Tester last year.
