Construction on Private Homes in Maine Down in February

New residential construction projects started at a slower rate than expected in February, indicating persistent slack in the housing market.
Privately-owned housing starts fell 22.5 percent below the January estimate to an seasonally adjusted rate of 479,000, the biggest decline since March 1984.
