What actually constitutes a political action committee?
The 1851 Center for Constitutional Law really wants to know, so it has filed a petition with the U.S. Supreme Court seeking an answer.

State Sen.Ryan Zinke, a former commander of-Navy SEAL Team Six, announced Wednesday the start of a political action committee dedicated to “the election of Mitt Romney and like-minded candidates,” according to a story posted on the Drudge Report.
The PAC, Special Operations for America, in support of candidates who believe in enduring “American Exceptionalism,” a news release states.
